Hello I am new to the site. I had cataract surgery both eyes last October and the following day my dry eye problem began. I have seen several Doctors over the last few months, and each time there is something else going on - Bleparitis and blocked glands now. I am in pain every day, using heat pads twice a day, and using Celluvisc every hour or so. I am taking flax seed oil and trying to eat the right things, butt have had to resort to strong pain killers just to keep going. I go to bed by 8pm every night as I cant tolerate the pain any more. Has anyone else experienced this after cataract surgery? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my social life back - even getting my eyes to last to 10pm would be great. How do you manage the pain, I just want to go in a corner and cry, but that makes my eyes worse. Thanks for listening to me.
