Hi, I've battled with dry eyes for a number of years. I recently had successful cataract surgery on both eyes and it is like a new lease on life especially with the corrective lenses they used. It is a drag to still have dry eyes. My ophthalmologist says it is probably due to blocked or poorly functioning oil glands. He gave me some suggestions including warm compresses twice a day. Thanks to this website I now have rice baggies. I'm also scheduled for the doctor's dry eye clinic the end of January. Relieved to be here! I'm not sure if I posted this right, if not my apologies.
