Hello everyone.
I'm a 45 year old male in Iowa. I've been diagnosed with keratoconus for close to 20 years now. I've had a corneal transplant in my right eye.
In order to see, I have to wear RGP contact lenses
I have blepharitis from MGD..and I think I have some other dry eye issues as well.
I have seasonal allergies as well.
My contact lens specialist is an hour away at the Univ of Iowa, and is hard to get into. I hope to find someone local that I can work with on DE issue.
I currently take Barleans Flax capsules everyday, am on Doxy, went through a course of Azasite, do hot compresses and lide massages 3 times a day, take NAC twice a day, wear TranquilEyes at night..the whole shooting.
I suspect that something like Restasis or punctal plugs is in my future.
