Hiya - Me Again!
Having a mare of a week so far - started from Saturday - lovely warm day - I was doing some voluntary work, and the room I was in for 3/4 hours was soo hot and dry (my eyes felt it after 5 mins). Then yesterday the backlash arrives - sore, gritty and red eyes again - making me depressed. I just want to be normal. I constantly look at other peoples white eyes. No one can understand how it feels.
I hate it when people talk to me and I notice them looking at my eyes (they switch from left to right, thats how I know!), and I think "yes I know they are red and look like road maps". Well thats probably an exageration, but they are not white, put it that way. Ive got a couple of permanent red veins too
I am getting married next year (hoorah!) and am already fretting over what my eyes are going to be like on the day. I suppose I can prepare them for the big day, try to stay out of heat, stay off alcohol, and drink lots of water the fortnight before - this may help. And then drink lots of water on the day - ok until 9pm then its the Alcohol !
Ive just ordered some BLINK Intensive drops - wondered whether they would be worth trying - I use Viscotears daily, but this week have had to put drops in about 6 times a day.
Has anyone had an improvement with BLINK? it states on their advert, that clinically proven to help improve dry eye!! got to worth a try for £4.
Anyone use "Optrex get red out" drops? Do they work? and can you use them with other drops?
Oh, something else I thought of last night - I have been told I have evaporative DE - - now how come this occurred in both eyes at the same time (May 08 time) ??? Strange? I am wondering whether there may be an underlying problem that triggered this - Liver???
Any advice appreciated.
