  • Any link between dry eyes, starbursts and anisometropia?

    Hello,

Just wanted to know whether anyone else had other complications added to their dry eyes?
I have the triple whammy of DES, starbursts (terrified to walk around at night because of cars and headlights) and anisometropia (lasek made me long sighted in left eye and short sighted in right eye so have crazy glasses with one lens that magnifies and the other that is for seeing far away, was previously only short sighted in both eyes).
How do you cope with it all? How do you learn to live and to accept this new life? How do you manage to work with this? My surgeon told me this is pretty much for life and that there is not much that he can do apart from further enhancement surgery. Think I'd rather be swallowed by a giant octopus.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

    Best wishes,
    Elizabeth
