I am totally miserable and angry right now after paying a large sum of money to a doctor who upon me examining the records, doesn't appear to have done what I was specifically referred to them for, or else done it but not recorded it. (They claim to have done it when I called but didn't point to anything in the report that proved that when I asked them to explain)
I'm thinking about attempting a credit card chargeback, for which I don't really have much to lose apart from maybe a bank fee, on the grounds that I paid for goods or services that were not provided. But I am worried it might leave me feeling even more hurt and humiliated (I'm not sure if the doctor would be able to discuss my health information with the bank in order to try to prove they did what was paid for?)
I've given it a few days to cool off and I still feel the same. What do you guys think? If I win, I will no longer feel angry, stupid and conned - I will just be left with the miserable
