If you take the total population of those with DES and those with Sensitive Eyes, what percentage of them has been caused/triggered or prematurely-accelerated by man-made stuff or man-made surgeries, such as:
(1) contact lenses
(2) LASIK
(3) computer viewing
(4) forced-air heat
(5) air-conditioning
(6) chemical outgassing from computers
(7) chemical exposure via [other including alcoholism]
(8) sick buildings
(9) smoking / passive-smoke
(10) etc. etc. (I did not include geography, such as dry-windy climates, as that's not man-made)
