I apologize for any duplication. I'm not sure if I have posted on this subject yet. I sit in a climate-controlled office all day, then spend an additional 4 hours in a climate controlled university building taking classes. During the workday I keep cool compresses handy and use them almost constantly, but I can't do this in class.
I am finding that my eyes ache so badly during class that I can barely keep my eyes open, let alone concentrate. For some reason the university room is the worst environment I have encountered, at least since winter has begun - worse than a convention center!
I'm trying out Systane gel tonight, and thinking of even going as far as an ointment. At this point I don't even care about the eye redness (I have my tinted glasses handy!), but I need to be able to get through a class and keep my eyes open. (I have two more years of these classes! So I need to come up with a solution before I entertain the idea of dropping my program.)
Thanks for any ideas!
Sharon
