As a long time dry eye sufferer and Forum member I’m again reaching out to the wisdom of this group for help. I may need to go on high blood pressure meds. I was prescribed a first line HP med that’s a diuretic! I have no idea why my GP would prescribe that with my known history of severe dry eye. Of course then I started researching meds and found that BP meds can cause dry eyes, even when not a listed side effect. My blood pressure isn’t terrible and I’m trying to control it with diet for now. If this doesn’t work has anyone here found a BP med that doesn’t dry out their eyes?
