Hi all,
Many people reported a recent post as spam and I removed the post, which certainly fit the usual spam profile and in any case was a direct violation of our user guidelines to not post promoting things one sells or in order to direct traffic to one's website.
I've since been contacted by the owner of that post, who turns out to have been a member of the forum for quite some time and felt she was posting in good faith. It doesn't make a difference to the kind of posting we allow, but I thought I would follow up by saying this:
- In case some of you with an existing interest in products in this category are interested in researching it on your own, the post was about a health fruit juice product called Monavie, which reportedly helped the member's son with dry eye.
- In case any of you did not see the User Guidelines when you first joined, this will serve as a reminder that they are located at the top of the Welcome forum. Or, click here to refresh your memory.
