I have bleph, MGD, DES, whatever you want to call it. Today my left ("good") eye more irritated and watery than usual - it is painful and the lower lid is inflammed (more than usual) and tender near the inner punctum (by the nose - I'm writing this off the top of my head so bear with me).
Can I wait until morning until I see a specialist or should I go to the emergency room? I have some PredForte (steroid drop) and might have some antibacterial drops lying around (I will use those if I find them). Any suggestions on what it might be? I have had a couple chalazions in the past in my right ("bad") eye but I don't think its a chalazion (I sure hope not). In the meantime I will do hot compresses and lid cleansing and use any drops I can find. I know this isn't exactly a DES question but its related and there are a lot of eye experts on this site. Any responses would be appreciated.
