I was talking to a co worker today. I noticed a while ago she had been out the office and came back with what was obviously orange staining in her eyes.
Today I noticed her eyes were inflamed looking and red veiny in the whites.
I asked if she had sore eyes and she said yes. I said "what is it, pink eye?".
She said "No, blepharitis", which got my attention.
I asked what she had to treat them and she said drops, which she can't be bothered with and she is supposed to rinse them with baby shampoo.
I tried to explain that I had the same kind of thing, resulting in dry eyes and feeling like something is in them but she was a bit dismissive, saying her eyes were not dry and it was an itching she had.
I would have asked more but she obviously didn't want to talk about it.

Anyway, here is another patient on the merry trail. I bet a tenner she got hypromellose drops from the local hospital. I didn't want to say I'd not managed to get permanent comfort after more than two years but she was adamant it wasn't dry eye anyway.
