A friend recently told me her father had a plugged tear duct (the tear producing duct), which the eye doctor cleaned out. She said he had a very dry eye, but after the passage was cleaned out, he was fine. Has anyone else experienced this? Do eye doctors regularly check for this when treating dry eye?...
