Can tears escape if punctal plug is not right fit? (quadra-plugged)
I have the 2 upper lids cauterized and plugs in the lower. The right eye has been quite watery since I got this done in April 2015. I still have some overflow in that eye. The left eye, however, has been troublesome for me and I am sure I am driving my dr crazy (and i know i am driving myself crazy)...

Temporary punctal cautery almost a huge success!
Hi folks,
Went to my ophthalmologist a week ago and told them I wanted to try punctal plugs. They said they only do cauterization and that they could give me a "temporary" cauterization same day. Doc said puncta would open back up within a month.

Cannot cry tears
Hi
In the last 10 years since I've had blepharits/MGD, I've noticed that I cannot cry tears (the emotional sort). Does anyone else have the same problem?
When I am chopping onions though, I can cry reflex tears.
I think the Accutane I was on damaged or clogged the meibomian glands....
