Hi Cindy.
I have never seen pinguecula go away. The "histopathology" of pinguecula(e) is a mixture of tissue, including scar tissue. The fact that they occur in the 3:00 and 9:00 position, seems to indicate that exposure to sun and wind is the cause. I have seen them diminish in size, though, in response to proper dry eye therapy.
