I was told by the doctor that my corneas are desensitized and that is why I cannot produce enough tears. Will a bandage contact lens help alleviate my symptoms? Thank you!

I took the liberty of reading some of your previous posts in order to better answer your question. You mentioned that you were diagnosed with TGN, and that this is causing a neurotrophic form of dry eye, along with the pain. I do believe that a bandage contact lens can be helpful with this, so long as enough artificial tears and rewetting drops are used to keep the lenses moist. The lens does form a type of sensory barrier that helps with the pain. It's definitely worth a try, and you will know instantly if it works. I almost always use a Focus Night and Day as the first choice.
