3 years since LASIK

The dreaded "laser-versary" is today. Three years....my eyes have been having troubles again, but all in all, a good day. We got our Christmas tree, and I haven't thought much about it.

Current theory is that I stopped taking birth control pills and it was discovered that I have fairly low estrogen....which could explain why I was actually better on the pills. Hmmmph.

Hope everyone is doing well, and still hoping for improvement again!

Hi Laura--so good to see you post. I don't come here much often anymorem but do stick my nose in occasionally. Glad I did in this place.

It sounds like you're doing ok and getting ready for Christmas. You know about the hormones, I've never been able to figure it out after 10+ years of reading about this. For the first 6 years after my Lasik, I was on full dose HRT and then for the past 4 years have not been on any hormones at all because of a cancer diagnosis back then. I never found a difference between having or not having.
