Does newer laser tech impact dry eyes?

Do the newer highly touted all laser/no blade procedures for lasik have any effect on dry eye outcome?

I have read both that it does help (from my optho) AND that it actually might be worse. I read a study that said that the goblet cells were more damaged and decreased more and for longer after intralase (no blade lasik). They believe that the longer time needed under the suction device might be to blame. They did say that they should be regenerated by one year post op. So, though they might be making the flap thinner and possibly sidestepping some of the innervation issues, they are making another problem with the longer suction time....
