  • Light sensitivity

I've made PRK, 4 years ago.
    I got dry eye.
Doctor told me not to put lubricants, more the 6 times.
I have been a fool to listen, and it became chronic.
I´ve suffered terrible for 2.5 years from extreme dry eye.
Then it has been cured by a miracle.
I still have to use glasses for astigmatism, and right eye has some sight damage
    even with glasses.
This experience has caused me feel a lot of remorse.
I have sensitivity to sunlight and I need to use sunglasses when going in the sun.
I didn't feel it before the surgery.
I wanted to ask, what is the damage that has been caused to the eye, which makes light sensitivity.
If I do expose my eyes to sunlight, does it damage them?

I can tell you it has been my experience that if I go in the bright light with no glasses I will sure pay later in the day with more burning and soreness than usual - indicative of inflammation
