HI - I'm 10 months post-LASIK, and still struggling very much. It's mostly frustrating that I cannot tell if 1) I'm regressing a bit (because nothing is totally sharp, unless I put in drops for 3-4 minutes) or 2) It's just dry eye and my good vision is still there. I've been told that there is no way to test this theory but time.
Has anyone here had slightly blurry distance vision that just takes a really long time to get better? Or, winter makes your vision less clear, and Spring/Summer improves it? I'm trying to decide if I should try contacts/lenses/glasses, or just keep giving it time. The dry eye issue sucks enough on it's own, but on top of it I've never had fully clear vision since getting LASIK 10 months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if I ever will.
I don't see many encouraging stories here about how it took a long time, but improved.... I'm also trying the "Rebuild Your Vision" program, so help strengthen the eye muscles. I'll keep you posted on how that goes.
Thanks ~ Chandra in Minnesota
