My lovely dry eye doc and I have come to a meeting of the minds regarding the dry eyes. After 5 or 6 other docs I am back to him. We now say over and over-cataract surgery a success, limbral relaxation a success--the negartive result of all this surgery--red, sore, dry eyes. I am back on restasis. Lovely doc has promised not to talk about how healthy the back of the eye is; we are concentrating on cornea finally!!!!
Clue - for five years prior to the cataract, I had frothy tear tissue. No one addressed this. I only found out about it after requesting my medical records, going over them myself, and then asking questions. This condition is a sign of dry eyes and blepharitis.
Maybe we are on the right track now.
