  • Headaches after Lasik

Dr. Holly's drops have helped me, my eyes are way better! But, lately I am starting to have headaches, it starts around 11:00 and gets worse later in the afternoon into the evening. Has anyone had experience with headaches after lasik and have any advice?

I've known several people this happened to. Usually it only lasted for a time then went away but some had it stick around longer. Some possibilities include...

    - fluctuating vision
    - residual refractive error (under or overcorrection or regression... your eyes may be 'accommodating' it just fine for awhile each day but have a harder time as the day wears on)
    - convergence problems.

I'd suggest getting a really careful refraction from your doctor in case temporary glasses could help and if there aren't any obvious answers talk to them about convergence.
