Knowledge about preservatives

I went to my regular doctor today (not eyedoctor) because I've got an infection in my left eye. Here the most common way to treat an eye infection is with prescribing Cloramfenicol.

Anyway....what I wanted to tell was...the doctor said...just out of the blue...well...since you are dripping your eyes so frequently, you stick to drops without preservatives,..right? I have NEVER got the recommandation from doctors before that I should only use preservative free drops,..so that was a new!!! And this wasn't even my eyedoctor. I've only been using preservatve free drops, but that's because I have been reading about the dangers of preservatives myself. So...Norwegian doctors are getting updated,..eventually!! :-)

PS: I had no idea Cloramfenicol without preservatives excisted, but that's what I got prescribed today.

I can see the Ragnarök times for DE sufferers in Norge are dissipating...We may not succumb to Jörmungand's poison after all!
Great! doing some progress... pharmas will have to deal with this!
