Can a gel cause MGD?

Can a gel in your eyes cause MGD? I know ( now) that a gel with vaseline is

not good for your eyes (my doctor did not when he told me to use it, or did

not care). Can A person who dosnīt have MGD have Blocked glands for a

while like when you use eyedrops or gels and when you stop useing that it

will goaway?
