Eyes hurting recently

Hi everyone,
I've been having more eye pain than usual, and feeling pretty low about it. Which sucks after feeling like I was on an an even keel there for a while.

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts about it being hormonal. I went off the pill in August, but have yet to have my period (no, not preggers ). I understand this is totally normal....but I'm wondering if the hormone flux could be affecting my eyes???

I am sure that hormones play a big part in dry eyes. Why else are women 80% affected by dry eye and men are only 20% affected?!

Maybe start keeping a log of your really bad eye days and you may end up seeing a cycle develop. That might help you mentally to "expect" some bad days versus them being a surprise.

Could it be seasonal too? This is the time of year when my eyes start going downhill... as soon as the furnace goes on. We've been in the 30s at night for a little while and I've really been feeling it.
