  • Hyperopia and Blepharitis

I keep reading about Hyperopia as a cause of blepharitis, is that actually possible ? How can a vision problem alter MG functionalty ? It's senseless. I read it on the internet, it was a pdf from an argentinian dr.

    I agree.

Did the paper you read suggest any mechanism for it?

Yes. " Astigmatism and low hyperopias cause blepharitis due to the constant effort the eye is put in to adapt the different distances ". Doesn't explain much huh?
