What exactly are these bumps or pockets of sebum that form around the meibomian duct exit at the tip of eyelids? I was just reading a source that said that once the glands got clogged or simply stopped producing oil, the skin cells that surround the duct exit will start to grow over the duct. Is this what causes those bumps that you can easily pop? Other reasons that cause temporary bumps/pustules are allergies, infection, and maybe inflamation+secretion.
