Hi,
I have been looking at light therapy for rosacea. In the light of Dr toyos success with IPL, i wondered whether red or yellow light therapy would help dry eye/ocular rosacea.
I found a few posts from people who clain to have improved their ocular rosacea/dry eye abd bleth using red light or yellow light therapy.
Red is supposed to treat inflammation and allow cells to heal and yellow treats blood vessles.
I have noticed that i have tangelseia on eyelids and purple appearence on and around eyelids. Upper is worse, IPL cant treat upper eyelids as the heat may effect delicate skin, light therapy has no heat and is not strong.
RLT is supposed to be a safer option to IPL, there is no heat just light, the effect is accumalative and takes longer than IPL, but most posts i have read have said that they use it on closed eyes, which they say from evidence is fine.
Here are some posts ive read:

I couldnt find the post about bleph, but it said the guy cured his long time bleph which wouldnt shift.
It seems safe to use, i may try it with goggles around the eyes and on eyelids coverring the eyes with goggles looking up etc, as dr tyos does. Im interested in treating beside the bridge of nose, again not on the eye. But people have been using it with closed eyes with no ill effects. Reading the posts, There is evidence out there of using light for eye conditions, i will source it.
any thoughts?
