Doheny Dr.
My regular opthomologist diagnosed blepharitis & dry eye.
Use Restasis, tried 2 plugs, then 4, which caused
"Niagra Falls"! So I went on my own for a concult
with Jules Stein/UCLA. There diagnosed with posterior
bleph & MGD. Used the scrub, Azazite, compresses ect.
Now much improved but still can't wear contact lenses.
Very comfortable while I wear, then the next day am quite
irritated. Wondering if IPL would help since now I'm told
I am just dealing with too little tear plus not enough oil.
I'm taking fish oil & flax oil, but can't give up on
contacts. I've done everything but IPL & wonder about
Boston Lense. UCLA contact specialist was very negative
Boston lense & said to go to semi rigid which makes no sense
to me.
I would appreciate the name of any Dr. @ Doheny Eye or
anywhere near LA you have found sympathetic to the
condition. My doctors don't really seem to care & haven't
bothered to measure the oil in tear etc. - just "guesses"
I have combo dry eye because I'm female & 58.
Thanks
