  • Ocular rosacea/ocular surface disease

My dermatologist just recommended a Dr. at The Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore,MD and I would like to know if anyone here has gone there and had any positive results.
I have been diagnosed with ocular rosacea/ocular surface disease and have not responded to any treatments and mostly because my Dr's(I am on my 5th Opthamologist)do not actually know what I have or how to treat me.
The derm mentioned systemic immunesuppressants and I would like to chat with anyone who has tried these with any success.
    Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has pursued systemic immunosuppressants for ocular rosacea?

      systemic immunosuppressants

Yes, I would like to know this as well.

It wouldn't just have to be for rosacea though... what about allergic blepharitis? Seems like that should respond to steroids systemically also.

I guess technically doxycycline is a systemic anti-inflammatory.
