retinoic acid .01%?? for mgd?? Leiters?? anyone?

Leiters compounding pharmacist spoke with me and suggested if the prog/test drops dont help my mgd after 6 weeks to try a retinoic acid .01% cream for mgd..
has anyone else tried this?? if so .. results??

I used retinoic acid for strias in my back when i was young. But i can't remember the concentration. I would be scared to put it next to my eyes.

It's a metabolite of Vitamin A. I'm not sure how closely related to Retin A or Tretinoic acid (used for acne) it is. If it's the same as Retin A I'd be concerned because Retin A dries glands out, and that's how it gets rid of pimples.

i dont believe thsi type of retinoic acid is the type used for acne... i used to think that but my doc explained it differently..although i dont remember...
