  • Does honey work for blepharitis?

Read an article about a guy from the UK who had blepharitis and then mentioned he found his cure by using honey

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...jar-honey.html

Has anyone tried this? Does anyone know what honey he used? Is it pure honey, raw honey or manuka honey?

I'm from the usa and would like to use the same honey he uses.

Hi, I think there is a thread somewhere here about this. For example, I know that Regina has used honey. I am also curiuos whether it should be manuka honey, I know they have developed manuka honey eye drops in Australia, there were recently a thread about this.

Sunshinelover is correct - if you do a forum search on honey, you'll find a thread about it.

Edit: Found the thread... here is a link:

I read that thread. But did that person have blepharitis? I never saw a mention of it. All i heard was dry eye. Isn't blepharitis and dry eye not the same thing?
