A little while back Hankm9 started this thread about a new device, Blephex.
From my understanding, Blephex will allow an eye doctor to clean up your eyelid margins which could be a great benefit to many dry eye sufferers.
Now Dr Jim Kokkinakis from The Eye Practice in Sydney says that he will have a Blephex device in a matter of weeks. He is also hoping to get an IPL device as soon as one is approved by the TGA. I posted a thread about this last week - it is here.
But certainly, if he gets Blephex and IPL, it is good news for Sydney dry eye sufferers.
(We are in Melbourne and I certainly have no affiliation with him. My wife had Lipiflow with him last year when he had a Lipiflow device on trial - we have been in contact with him by email ever since. He is certainly one EyeCare Practitioner who is very interested in dry eye !)
