Meibomian Gland dysfunction cause

Thought you all might want to read this article, could be the cause of Meibomian gland dysfunction. I personally believe that all these topical drops are not the answer, everything has an underlying cause, I believe it is somewhere in the Endocrine system, that sends hormones to our different organs, which have receptors, and the hormones tell the target cells what to do (example: meibomian gland, is an androgen target cell). maybe this could be a cause of their malfunction.
