  • posterior blepharits and secondary ocular surface disease.

The above iw what im diagnosed with. With the blepharitis my glands are well and truly plugged up with stuff and no amount of hot compressing seems to shift it.q is can oil glands atrophy so much over time that they can become permanently stuck?like mine look.Or is there still hope?Left eye has all these hard lumpy things on lashline and is the most painful.how many times per day is recommended for hot compress and for how long.tried taking doxy but it makes me sick so am not on anyother antibiotics..can posterior bleph clear up without antibiotics?thanks..feedback would be much appreciated..Ive also got blepharaspasms in eyes so have botox in eyelids every sixweeks and that amkes the eyes even drier.cherrybrandy.:

I do warm compresses 2 times every day. Once in the morning and once at night. I have heard of doing them 3 to 4 times a day if symptoms are very severe. Basically, whatever gives you the best results is what you should try to do.
