  • Blepharitis & Phlyctenule

So the other day I noticed a "speck" on my eye and felt discomfort. I was so worried and called my doctor and she said that I have blepharitis :-(
Also , the speck is called phlyctenule. I am on Lotemax and she said it will go away. When I read about blepharitis, they say its a lifelong infection. Just as I thought things were looking up for me too with the plugs and all.

My doctor said it can happen to anybody and that it may not be from lasik. I wish I knew how I got this.

Anyone familiar with this infection or have had it before??

how is your comfort level aside from that? Is the dryness feeling better still?

well the infected eye is feeling drier and it looks redder. the other eye is fine and doesnt bother me at all hardly. the plugs were great though, sometimes too much tearing but its better than dry. how are your plugs doing?
