Is ocular rosacea progressive?

Does anyone know if ocular rosacea is progressive?

i've read that rosacea in general is progressive, that it will get worse if left untreated, but i still don't understand what the treatment is...

With me it's not. I'm 37 and I've had eye problems since i was 15. I wouldn't say they've got progressively worse over the years.
