  • If needed... most patients respond quickly... in rare cases...

I keep reading studies out there regarding MGD and blepharitis that seem to discount constantly the severity and difficulty of the condition.

Is it really that easy to treat for most people? Am I in the 1%?

Everything I have read has been to the contrary. I think some sites make light of DES in general, and convey simple treatments as many people, probably the majority, have mild forms that are indeed easily managed. In my experience, by the time people make it to this board they are long past the "easy to manage" stage. For me, I was probably in that stage long before I was diagnosed, and by the time diagnosis came, it was too late.
Every day with DES is like a box of chocolates...You never know what you're going to get.
