Could this be Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis?
Here are a couple pictures of my inner lids:
I was told by Dr. Latkany and other doctors that my eyes are allergic. However, I have never had this pain before in my life. Check my other posts for background. I have worn contact lenses for 11 years and now I am out of contacts for a month and a week so far. My eye pain isn't improving.. at least not a change that I notice. All doctors are agreeing that the cause is my contact lens wear (too long each day). I had a TBUT test and was told that it's normal, and that my tears are fine. But I still have lots of trouble.
Most of the time, what I find helps me is lots of water, flaxseed oil, and hot compresses.
I also use ophthalmic antihistamines. I've been given Pataday to try, but there's too little, and the full bottle costs way too much. So I bought Claritin Eye (also called Zaditor) which has Ketotifen Fumarate. Pataday seems to help sometimes. Claritin Eye stings, and doesn't seem to help, but worsen things.
I've also been given Omnipred, but I heard lots of bad things about its side effects (glaucoma, cataracts..) so I stopped using it.
Will this go away eventually if I don't put CLs in my eyes? And if it does, when would I start noticing differences? Or will it be too gradual to notice?
Here are images of my eyes. Is there anything wrong visibly?
