Very Itchy Eyes - Any suggestions?

Yeah, it's like the pharmacist who did the consult on my restasis -- she said, oh I had lasik back in 2002 -- no dry eyes, but I do see halos still.............oh great -- thanks a lot!!!

I completely understand your feelings about "why did this happen to me?" I've even quizzed everyone I know who had lasik about dry eyes -- most said it cleared up after like 2months.

I do feel like I was screened well -- they asked about my contact lens tolerance and my pre-op records say lids look normal, no dry spots, shirmers normal. Then at one of my post-ops they say well you might have been borderline beforehand. Well how would I have known that!!!! I trusted them to test -- and my contacts felt fine except on airplanes and long, long days.

I just think some folks can't relate because they don't know what it is like. It is hard to understand why some have such difficulties with this and others just breeze through. It is all scary and overwhelming. I would just like to get some relief!

Hello,
Is it probable that people who have developed a poor tear film will also become prone to allergy season? I have never had known problems with allergies in the past but these days my dry eye seems worse March-July.
I think maybe my dry eye is not caused by allergies but these days my poor tear film isnt good at dealing with pollen?
Any thoughts?

Patanol has BAK

I was using patanol but it stopped working after my 6th day.I get burning and stringy mucous inside eyes as well as blurry vision.Would you suggest I need a stronger drop?I get these symptoms on the first day of hot humid weather.The symptoms seem to lessen on cool days.Help I am going nuts.
