i joined this site over a year ago due to developing sore eyes after taking accutane for 8 weeks. My problems started to remedy themselves after a few months (around Jan/Feb this year) to the point that they were almost back to normal.
I am a contact lens wearer and went from being unable to wear them for a hour back to upto 15 hours a day. My regimen included the use of omega 3's supplements starting in Dec/Jan and stopped after a couple of months.
In the past couple of weeks my eyes are back to square one, they are sore again and my wear time for contacts is very limited and painful.
I don't know whether this is coincidence or not with the timing of the year, as I had problems around the same time last year, but my specialist did ask many months ago if i suffered from allergies - to which i don't actually know !
Anyone any ideas how I can see if this problem is allergy based or dry eyes ??? or both ???
