I heard this on NPR today, and even though the words were spoken with regards to a different situation/context, they really struck home with me and my struggle with dry eye and having an autoimmune disorder. I hope these words inspire you in coping with your own personal struggle.

‎"Resilience is accepting your new reality. Even if it's less good than the one you had before. You can fight it. You can do nothing but scream about what you've lost. Or you can accept that, and try to put together something that's good." --Elizabeth Edwards

I also love this quote, especially so, as I am a cancer survivor. Lucy

A wonderful quote. I'm copying it to put where I can see it often. Elizabeth Edwards carried on no matter what happened to her, a great example. Thank you for posting this, willwork4tears.
