Hi all,
So I don't know about you, but I spend a ridiculous amount of money each month of eye drops. I was complaining to my sister (who is currently in med school) about this and she suggested that it was possible that I get my doctor to write a not of medical necessity essentially saying that I cannot function without eye drops (which is 100 % true, as I assume it is for many of you as well). She said I should then be able to get insurance to cover at least part of the cost of eye drops; has anyone tried this or know if this can really be done? Not only is dry eye such an emotional burden, but such a financial one as well! Sigh...
