I need some advise on whether to go on temp disability or not. I have been given the option so far to be able to work form which has helped some - on some days. But I am still putting in 12+ hours a day on the computer - sometimes as much as 15 hours to compensate for being slower at things and needing breaks.
I am trying different remedies, have new dr appts scheduled, planning punctal plugs in Sept etc. I can't take the lights an AC at work, can't drive in the morning. I have Graves disease and blepharitis.
When is the right time to go on disability? How do you approach your employer with that? Does this put me at risk of losing my position? I am pushing myself so hard so I make sure I do not lose my job.
