  • Today's tip: Do Yourself a Favor and try an Eyewash

You can be an 'eyewash snob' and buy a name brand like Bausch & Lomb http://www.bausch.com/us/vision/prod...ps/eyewash.jsp or buy the 'two-buck Chuck' version (CVS, Rite-Aid) but every so often treat your eyes to a nice rinse.

I've been 'too busy' lately and let this little eyeball treat fall by the wayside for too long. I've been having some trouble rebounding from some recent travels and finally went to Rite-Aid to get some eye wash. An eye wash doesn't rank as high as a dozen roses, candlelight dinner for two or a massage but today it came pretty close.

Get the kind with an eye cup. You may end up wearing most of it so use a towel .

    Good job!

This sure beats the last one you gave us.

I rinse my eyes with Saline (Unisol) twice a day. I tilt my head and rinse from outside to inside. You definitely need a towel.

Since I've been doing it, my eyes aren't as red.

I used an eyewash from CVS while I was in NYC this summer and it really helped clear out all the dirt in my eyes that couldn't be flushed out and that was irritating me. It worked really well and was really refreshing!
