Today's tip: Wipe your lashes

Many artificial tear products may leave some residue that dries on the lashes and/or lid margins. The same drop may cause this problem to one patient and not another.

To eliminate or minimise residue or crusting, gently wipe the lashes with a wet tissue after putting drops in, to prevent excess staying on the lashes.

I would add to this that I have found in my own personal case that tissues do not work well around the eyes. Tissues, even the most expensive ones, have the potential to release tiny particles of lint into the eyes causing irritation and [for me] even inflammation. I prefer to use a soft, clean cotton t-shirt or towel to wipe my eyes. Cotton balls also have less tendency to release those tiny lint particles, but I prefer soft cotton cloth.

Just adding my 2 cents to your helpful suggestion.
