sore spot

I have a particularly sore spot on my eye just neat the colourred part. Does anyone else get this.

What eyedrops and regime did they prescribe at the Eye Clinic? Nothing with preservatives in it, I hope.

If it doesn't get better after 5 days of recommended treatment I would see another ophthalmologist or an optometrist to check you've got the correct diagnosis and they haven't missed anything. Sometimes the big regional hospital eye clinics with up-to-date knowledge and clinical practice are best at diagnosis and have better eyedrops in their pharmacy.

Is your eye all red?
Can you see anything at the sore spot?
Can you open your eye normally?
Has there been discharge or pus?
