This is just my opinion, but I bet others may chime in. I hear so many people wish they could wear their contacts again because high-minus-prescription glasses make their eyes look small and they're self-conscious. I just wanted to chime in that I think thick glasses make guys look confident, competent, and attractive. (disclaimer: I'm happily married! ) And I bet at least *some* guys feel that way about women in glasses. I've noticed a great deal more folks on TV wearing them (newscasters, journalists, commentators). I'm just one data point, but wanted to chime in in case it makes even one person feel better about having to wear their glasses.
And I know, I'd rather be able to wear my contacts because I have better vision out of them, but I guess we can tackle one issue at a time.
