FYI, the new 3 oz rule they're making so much noise about does not appear to affect the rules previously in place about medical supplies... at any rate I had no problem with my 4 oz bottle this morning when I explained what it was for.

Under 'exceptions" to the rule................
up to 4 oz of non-prescription eye drops...........I am paraphrasing because I don't remember it, but everyone might want to go to the link and read it if they are traveling. It says nothing about a note from your doctor being necessary.

No, I didn't. That's where being a scleral wearer comes in handy - all I have to say is "I wear a prosthetic eye device..." and the red sea seems to miraculously part. Even had a guy ahead of me in line insist that I go ahead of him when he overheard me saying this to the security guy when explaining my 4 oz Unisol.

The people at the screening point seemed knowledgeable. The people at the check-in desk didn't seem to know anything other than the 3 oz rule. (I'd only glanced briefly at the link and didn't see the exceptions when I checked before leaving.)
