about those 4 oz unisol bottles...
Thanks Kurt!
FYI, the new 3 oz rule they're making so much noise about does not appear to affect the rules previously in place about medical supplies... at any rate I had no problem with my 4 oz bottle this morning when I explained what it was for.Rebecca Petris

Note: I tried to cut and paste, but it didn't work.
Under 'exceptions" to the rule................
up to 4 oz of non-prescription eye drops...........I am paraphrasing because I don't remember it, but everyone might want to go to the link and read it if they are traveling. It says nothing about a note from your doctor being necessary.
I did manage a cut and paste below.........................
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exceptions To Liquid/Gel Carry-On Allowance
Breast milk, baby food, fruit juice (if a baby or small child is traveling)
Prescription medications
Essential non-prescription medicines, including eye care products such as eye drops and contact lens solution (no more than 4 ounces)
Items purchased from Duty Free shopsDon't trust any refractive surgeon with YOUR eyes.

The people at the screening point seemed knowledgeable. The people at the check-in desk didn't seem to know anything other than the 3 oz rule. (I'd only glanced briefly at the link and didn't see the exceptions when I checked before leaving.)Rebecca Petris
