To add to the post link, I've recently added this http://www.stlmedical.com/store/diab...MOIPW311x.html to my carrying options. I found it on clearance (it was a display model) and figured I'd try it. Turns out, it fits 2 of my serum bottles perfectly. I freeze them inside the container, the night before I travel, to make them as cold as possible. Unlike insulin, it's not a bad thing to freeze your serum drops. They need to be kept not cool but refrigerated (think meat) so while the directions for insulin talk about making sure they don't get too cold, you DO want your serum drops as cold as possible, particularly for long travel periods.
